What a fun and busy two days for me (Saturday and Sunday) at the Affordable Art Fair. #IAmArtHappy! The fair had a fabulous turnout – the show was mobbed! There were many great artists, but several that I particularly liked.
1. Marlene Rose – Being Shown at the Ai Bo Gallery Booth
Marlene is an award-winning, Sand Casting Glass Artist. The gallery also features artists from Vietnam and other parts of Asia. The booth had a great variety of works that were multi-media and all very interesting. Below are several examples of her Buddha Series. Oh, and I forgot to mention…I’m the proud mother =-)

2. John Kenny – Being shown at the Capital Culture Gallery Booth
John is a Portrait Photographer. I found these photographs of various tribal people to be very compelling and unusal. I had seen these photos at the Hamptons show last Summer and thought they were amazing.

2. Barry Cawston – Being shown at the Capital Culture Gallery Booth
Barry has a large amount of subjects, from cityscapes to landscapes, and I particularly liked this photo taken in Brazil. It has a very old and colonial feeling; could be New Orleans, but it’s Brazil. Love it!
